Art is not about perfect lines, it’s about expressing yourself.
My artistic journey began when I was in Nursery 2. Since then, drawing has been a part of my everyday life and a way for me to grow, imagine, and express myself.
Art makes me feel calm and happy. When I draw, I enter a world where I can turn my ideas into pictures and show how I see the world. I love seeing a blank page slowly become a complete piece of art.
Art is more than just a hobby for me — it’s a way to tell stories, share feelings, and discover new things about myself.

My Artistic Journey
My artistic journey began when I was very young, and since then, art has become an important part of my life.

2017-N2
In 2017, when I was 4 years old, I attended a children’s art class at West Coast Community Centre.

2018-K1
In 2018, I started learning art from a teacher who graduated from the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University.

2019-K2
In 2019, I continued learning art with my teacher and enjoyed drawing cartoon characters in my free time.

2020-P1
In 2020, I started Primary 1. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, everyone stayed home to work and study. After the restrictions were lifted, I went to West Coast Park for outdoor sketching.

2021-P2
In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic was still ongoing, but my teacher took us out for outdoor sketching. In this year, I started taking lessons with a new teacher. That marked the beginning of a new chapter in my art journey.

2022-P3
During the 2022 school holidays, I took part in a heritage architecture workshop where I built a traditional building model by hand and experienced the beauty of architectural art.

2023-P4
In 2023, I took part in the Lantern Painting Competition during Singapore Hokkien Lam Ann Festival and experienced the richness of Chinese traditional culture.

2024-P5
During the 2024 school holidays, our teacher took us to the zoo, where I drew two cute otters.

2025-P6
In 2025, as Primary 6 life became more stressful, drawing became the best way for me to relax.
